B & C: In search for inspiration for our final project, i decided to look at some iconic advertisements from the past. Not only do these two inspire me, i think they can be an inspiration for everyone else when it comes to thinking of ideas for a campaign.

I can't believe that this semester is coming to a close already. For this week, i wanted to focus on animation to help get me geared up for both the final project and our upcoming animation project. I found some good animation videos that serve as excellent inspiration.

a: I just recently bought the Horror B-movie extravaganza that is Drag Me to Hell and i urge everyone to watch it. Its a fantastic movie and its Sam Raimi at his most awesome. It was so good, i sketched one of the scenes.
b: Im a sucker for DIY video projects. This one struck me as particularly cool because of how expensive real steady cams are and the results it gets. Check out the videos and make your own. They rock.
c:Here is a website that has always been close to my heart. Home made blood. Just in time for halloween.

a: I sketched this up during a trip up the tramway here in Albuquerque. I have always found cityscapes fascinating in the way they present themselves within the city.

b&c: Michel Gondry has always had a way of combining very simple strategies to get incredibly interesting results. Both of these videos were created with fairly simple techniques but the outcomes were quite astonishing.

a: I am a very visual person when it comes to everything in life. I am always thinking of how things would look through a cameras viewfinder and i think this photo depicts that quite well.

b & c: These two photos inspire me to always be pushing forward with digital media and art. The level of detail and clarity in these pictures show a level of skill that i strive to have.
